Reviews
Seawinds has historical significance from the historic landmarks to aboriginal sculptures, aesthetic beauty from cultured gardens to natural bushland and provides multifunctional spaces (picnics, weddings, functions etc).
It's not hard to spot a mob of roos or gaze across to the other side of the bay.
Seawinds is a great place to begin short walks of less than 30 minutes to 2 day treks from bay to bay.
There is plenty of parking, toilets, BBQ facilities and of course the great drive up Arthurs Seat to get there.
Would have been a nice park if not for animal poos everywhere. Ample parking. Toilet and picnic tables available.
Seawind Gardens on the Arthur's Seat is an amazing gem! The garden is very well maintained and the plants look very healthy... Every now and then you see groups of wild kangaroos / wallabies around...this is why this is a popular place...the views you see from lookouts here are also stunning...highly recommended!
If you want to see a lot of kangaroos in the wild and up close - this is the place to do it. A lot of kangaroos feeding on the grass, spectacular views of the bay, ducks as well, beautiful ponds.
Really beautiful, calm and relaxed place. We were there on a sunny Sunday afternoon in mid December (a bit of a wind chill) and there were maybe less then 8 people there. Would recommend
Beautiful gardens, lots of amazing trees, plants and wildlife. Joeys were still in kangaroo's pouches, very peaceful. Beautiful views and quite good accessibility. Some small stairs but easy access around these along gravel path. Was busy but still able to find lots of pockets of quiet and stillness. It's a beautiful place to visit for anyone, especially those visiting or new to the area. Had a lovely sunny afternoon - the paths and attractions are really well marked. Spent a while watching the ducks near the lovely pond, and absolutely gorgeous twilight views over the ocean. Would highly recommend- there are toilets and a Cafe located back up the road near the gondola station, but I always prefer Wombat Cafe for vegan treats and excellent coffee to take up - much less busy and better priced (still expensive but much more worth it!). Can't wait to go back.
I've been past this garden a few times travelling along the two bays trail, but I'd never been in until recently. OMG, this place is beautiful. The views are stunning, and there is plenty of space for picnics and activities with your families. We walked along some of the trails and tracks that take you around historic sites and can also get you up to the tip of Arthur's seat.
My family and I loved it and will be back for another picnic
Lovely park, great trails, excellent fun (with hard work) for mountain bikers and walkers - though today we found the signage on walking trails not as helpful as we'd hoped. Read them well before you set off, and check your phone map often. Still don't know how far away King Falls was, after 5.8 km on what seemed to be the right trails!
We went on the trail to the Falls. Nice trickle of water. Lots of wildlife, including an Echidna, which ignored us and foraged for lunch.
